Before you can delete vendor records you must verify that the vendor records are not in use anywhere in the system. To accomplish this, please follow these steps:
1. Find all the order and checkin records that contain the vendor code you want to delete. You can find the records by using Create Lists to create Boolean searches (vendor=).
(If you find order and checkin records that contain the vendor code you want to delete, change the vendor code in those records)
2. Set all totals in the vendor record to “0″ and all amounts to $0.00.
3. Verify that the vendor code is not used in electronic ordering or electronic invoicing files.
4. Verify that the vendor code is not used in templates for order or checkin records.
To delete vendor records:
1. Retrieve the vendor record.
2. Choose File > Delete Vendor Record.
Millennium prompts you to confirm the deletion of the record.
3. Choose Yes.

Looking for usage stats on your e-reserves? You can access the electronic reserves statistics at:
http://cat.opal-libraries.org/manage
- Enter your Millennium initials and select “E-Reserves” under
“User Access” (on the left side).
- Then choose either “Publisher” or “Summary Statistics by Pub” under
the “Reports” section (again, on the left side).
- Select your data range and then wait for it to generate the report.
Keep in mind that some of the reports take several minutes to generate
(especially if you looking at more than 6 months or so of data).
- Once you have the report, scroll down through the report, looking for
your publisher codes.

When you append a line in Create Lists, do you find yourself wondering is AND the right choice or should it be OR?
AND & OR are used when adding multiple search lines (using the append button).
The AND operator will use both values specified. The OR operator will use either one of the values specified.
For instance, if I wanted to find item records that had specific locations (ohxxx, ohyyy)
By using AND between my lines the system would not find any records and my list will be empy. Here is why:
- Item locations are a fixed field and cannot have multiple locations/values
- There exists no items with BOTH ohxxx AND ohyyy locations, so the search result would be ZERO.
However, if I use OR to find item records with locations of ohxxx & ohyyy, the system would have found all items with EITHER ohxxx OR ohyyy locations.
Remember, when using OR as an operator in a search that also includes AND, group your OR terms together with parenthesis. You can read more about Grouping here:
http://staff.opal-libraries.org/index.php/2010/02/24/mil-tip-grouping-search-terms-in-create-lists/
So when appending a line – think of which would be the best option for your search – AND or OR?
